The costume manager, Birdi Nagy, shows up as Haunted Soiree first rolls into town as the crew finishes everything including new costumes and building the set in the week before opening… Before opening, costumes are stored in the rooms their character performs in, intricately designed pieces that are prepared and fixed each night by the costume designers. Runway ready

The return of the HUB Center for Seniors’ semiannual fundraising runway show May 13 drew 75 attendees, 19 models and raised $1,700 for the HUB… Staging the show reinforced the value of practice for Nagy, and also taught [them] that fun is not only infectious, but vital to such an event. HUB runway show set to offer 'Patio Party' May 13

The HUB Center for Seniors revival of what had traditionally been a semiannual runway show has settled on the theme for its Patio Party in May: Fashions inspired by the late 1960's through the 1970s… The first runway show will feature accessories by BABS (Barbara's Accessories and Bags Store), with leather accessories from designer Birdi Nagy, and the rest of its fashions drawn from the HUB thrift store's clothing, all of which will be available for sale. Tiny House Build at Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community

Ever thought about building and then living in your own Tiny Home?  Well, one young resident of Wheat Hill is going do just that and you are welcome to come along and see the process from start to finish.  This is actually [their] second TH, so the finished home should be pretty spectacular. Every day [they] work on the home, we will post both exterior and interior pics of her progress.  This means you will be able to see the build process in real time.

Introducing… The Lemonader!

While attending the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in 2014, Birdi led a collaboration to design a bike for Lemon Street Market in Lancaster, PA. This project was presented by Modern Art, a friendly design studio that has created various Art Bikes to promote biking and healthy living in the community. The Common Wheel also provided some labor and materials to bring this design to life
